I'm István Miklós Antal. I'm a web ninja. I create modern web apps for a living.

The reason I like developing web applications so much is because it's challenging and it let's me create really powerful applications that run in a lot of places.

Background

I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, and I have been working since 2006.

Abilities

I write both front and backends for web applications. I can write well organized maintainable code in PHP, though I'm very open minded when it comes to writing code on the server, if I have to chose I always choose what's best for the job. On the client side I prefer writing functional JavaScript, with jQuery and jQuery UI, I used to use YUI2 too, but I became exclusive jQuery after I learned how JavaScript really works.

Most programmers can write server side code, but the hard part is usually writing code on the client side. I think I'm really good at writing the client side of web applications, I have done a lot to learn it, my end result is usually: optimal and maintainable code that runs "everywhere".

I think I have a good understanding on how the web browsers work and how JavaScript works.

I speak English fluently.
